How to become an icon. In talk with Mathias Hammer

Where do you start if you want to become famous in your field? How do you build a personal brand? How do you commercialise on your talents? I’ve had the pleasure of going on this journey of development with TV host and musician Mathias Hammer known from DR.

With the help of a group of niche experts Mathias set out to achieve his mission of “becoming an icon”, just like his idol Beethoven.

I had the pleasure of helping Mathias on building his business and personal potential; to start capitalising more on his talent and makemore money. A bit of a taboo to talk about in the creative industry, and perhaps therefore even harder for people to achieve. But financial success is an important element for all of us, whether we’re aiming for fame, freedom or fortune. Mathias and I had an interesting and entertaining talk at Matrikel1 about all the obstacles, hard choices and next steps on the journey for him. The result was a practical list that other ambitious souls building a brand can also benefit from. You can listen to that podcast episode here

I get a lot of questions from entrepreneurs and ambitious people who want to get further in life, but I’ve never thought of putting the journey together as a podcast series. Luckily the smart people at DR radio did, so now you can listen to all of Mathias journey and collect the bits of inspiration that’s relevant for your journey. Or just have a good time listening to an interesting and charming man on a mission.

Listen to DR’s podcast series “Mathias vil også være et ikon” here. The programs are in Danish.
